Photos tell the honest story of restoration work. A water line that let go at 2 a.m., a roof leak that fed mold for weeks, a kitchen fire that left soot in every cabinet. These Orlando projects show what our crews walked into and what the home looked like when we packed up. The equipment matters, the certifications matter, but the after photo is the only claim that actually counts.

Ceiling Collapse from an Upstairs Bathroom Supply Line
Before
AfterThe problem: a braided supply line under an upstairs sink split while the homeowner was asleep. By morning, water had saturated the subfloor and collapsed the living room ceiling below. What we did: extracted the standing water, pulled the failed drywall, and set Dri-Eaz and Phoenix air movers with an Injectidry system to dry the joist cavities, which in Orlando’s humidity means holding interior RH under 50%, or the framing stays wet no matter how dry the surface feels. The result: the ceiling was rebuilt, textured to match, and painted. Total dry-down took four days. The homeowner’s only long-term reminder is the repainted ceiling.
Mold Remediation in a Dr. Phillips Attic
Before
AfterThe problem: a bathroom exhaust fan vented into the attic instead of through the roof. Months of warm, moist air hitting the underside of the sheathing produced exactly the growth pattern you’d expect in Florida. What we did: contained the attic with negative air pressure, removed the affected insulation, HEPA-vacuumed and scrubbed the sheathing, then applied an antimicrobial sealant after the moisture source was corrected. The result: the attic passed a third-party clearance test, and the exhaust fan now vents outside where it belongs. Mold behind drywall in Florida usually traces back to one specific moisture source; find it, fix it, and the mold doesn’t come back.
Kitchen Fire Cleanup in Winter Park
Before
AfterThe problem: a grease fire that started on the stovetop and put enough heat and smoke into the kitchen to leave a layer of soot on every surface, plus an odor that traveled through the whole house. What we did: documented the damage for the homeowner’s insurance claim, then cleaned and degreased every surface, sealed the cabinets and woodwork with an odor-blocking primer, and replaced the damaged countertop section and cabinet doors. The result: the kitchen doesn’t just look clean; it smells like nothing, which is the real test after a fire. The homeowners were back to cooking within three weeks of the first phone call.
Hardwood Floor Drying in College Park

The problem: a refrigerator water line leaked slowly under the kitchen floor for a week before anyone noticed. By then, the oak planks had cupped and the moisture meter was reading 22% across a 200-square-foot area. What we did: set up a drying system with mats and injected air movement under the flooring, monitoring moisture daily until the wood stabilized. The result: the planks flattened back down enough to sand and refinish, which saved the homeowner the cost of a full tear-out and replacement. In Orlando, hardwood that gets wet and isn’t dried properly will cup, crown, or buckle permanently; the first week of drying determines which option you end up paying for.
Sewage Backup in a Lake Nona Bathroom

The problem: a main line clog sent sewage back up through a ground-floor bathroom, soaking the drywall, the vanity, and the subfloor under the tile. What we did: extracted and disposed of the contaminated water, cut away the soaked drywall and flooring, sanitized every remaining surface with an EPA-registered disinfectant, and dried the structure before rebuilding. The result: the bathroom was rebuilt with new drywall, new tile, a new vanity, and a documented drying log that matched IICRC standards. Sewage water is a different category of mess; it’s not something you mop up and hope for the best on.
Storm Water Intrusion in a Thornton Park Basement-Style Garage

The problem: an afternoon thunderstorm dropped three inches of rain in an hour, and the street drainage couldn’t keep up. Water pushed into the garage and soaked the lower portion of the drywall and every box on the floor. What we did: pumped the standing water, removed the wetted drywall, set drying equipment, and monitored until the framing read dry. The result: the garage was rebuilt with new drywall and baseboard, and the homeowner now keeps everything up on shelving. It’s a familiar story in older Orlando neighborhoods where the grading slopes toward the garage door instead of away from it.
